Bible Study Fellowships

This ministry takes place on Sunday mornings at 9:30am. We have classes for all ages to come and study the Word of God. We invite all to come and enjoy great fellowship and encouragement.

Women's Ministry

"Walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God." (Colossians 1:10)

Our Women's ministry plans events throughout the year where women are informed and inspired to be influences in her world for Christ. We do this through events throughout the year such as Ladies Nights Out where we invite guest speakers and musicians to come and share.

Youth Group Ministry (6th Grade and Up)

Wednesday Night - 6:30pm

Sunday Morning - 9:30am

Children's Ministry (PreK - 5th Grade)

Sunday School - 9:30am

Sunday Morning - "Kids Own Worship" - 11:00am

Wednesday Night - "King's Kids" Choir Practice - 6:15PM-7:15PM

Community Outreach

USDA Summer Food Service Program


The Summer Food Service Program, sponsored by the USDA and New Hanover County Schools, helps make sure that children in low-income families are still able to have healthy meals while school is out for the summer. This is a free program for children 18 years and younger.

This summer, from June 26 through August 11, children can come to the Fellowship Hall at LFBC to receive a meal. The meals are provided by the USDA. This service will be provided on weekdays from 11:45am - 12:30pm.

HOPE Ministry (Clothes Closet)

  • Clothes for the homeless and others in need at no cost. Clothing is available for women, men, children, and babies/toddlers.
  • Hours: Tuesdays & Thursdays 10:00am - 2:00pm at the street level of the sanctuary building.
  • Donations are always accepted during church operating hours.

LFBC is cooperating with Vigilant Hope to bring shower facilities for the homeless on Tuesdays from 10:00am - 12:00pm as well as hosting and providing housing for their Cape Fear Project Groups.


Street Sheet - Wilmington, NC

The Street Sheet is the result of collaboration among the Tri-County Homeless Interagency Council to help those in need. Their service offerings include food and pantry; housing and shelter; health and wellness; and many more. Please see the link above for more details.
