Ministries

Helping others grow with God!

Sunday Bible Study Fellowship (SBSF)

Sundays at 9:30am

We have classes for all ages to come and study the Word of God. We invite all to come and enjoy great fellowship and encouragement.

Senior Adult Ministry

"The Three G's" or "God's Golden Group" is Lake Forest's Senior Adult Ministry. This group is for any senior adult looking for fellowship and the opportunity to further their walk with Christ. In addition to weekly Sunday Bible Study Fellowship, this ministry takes day trips and conducts additional Bible studies. They also participate in the Cape Fear Network of Baptist Churches' (CFNBC) Senior Adult Rally every quarter.

Women’s Ministry

Our Women’s Ministry serves to inform women and inspire them to be influences for Christ. This ministry gathers for fellowship events and activities throughout the year to help all participants grow with Christ, each other, and the community.

Children’s Ministry

Sundays at 10:30am

Nursery Sundays at 10:30am

Children in this ministry learn about the Word of God through activities and lessons such as Children's Church.

Men’s Ministry

This ministry is for men of all ages to grow in their Christian walk and strengthen their relationships with each other as well as God’s Word.

Community Outreach

HOPE Ministry (Clothes Closet)

The Clothes Closet has resumed and is now open! Volunteers are always welcome on Tuesdays and Thursdays! If you would like to volunteer or if you have any questions, please contact us! Thank you!

The Clothes Closet is currently in need of socks as well as men’s clothes. If you have any items you would like to donate, they can be dropped off during normal church hours. If you need to schedule a drop off time outside of church hours, please contact us to schedule a time. Thank you!

The Hope Ministry helps provide clothes for the homeless and those in need at no cost. Clothing is available for women, men, children, toddlers, and babies. The Clothes Closet is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00am - 2:00pm, and it is located on the street level of the sanctuary building. Have any clothes that you would like to donate? Donations are always accepted, and they can be dropped off during normal church hours.
